This splendid coin collection presents a full set of 1997 dated United Kingdom circulation coins, struck to Brilliant Uncirculated standard at the Royal Mint in South Wales, together with a set of Uncirculated United States coinage from the Philadelphia mint.  Both sets of coin designs represent their country’s history and development, different, but no dissimilar.
The 1997 USA and UK 'United' Uncirculated Coin Collection was issued jointly to celebrate “over 300 years of close association,” between the United Kingdom and the United States of America, and also between the two mints, Philadelphia and the Royal Mint. These mints have a long history of co-operation and collaboration, dating right back to the very establishment of the Philadelphia mint in 1792.
This collection contains 13 coins in total, 5 minted by the Philadelphia Mint and 8 by the Royal mint. The US coins are: the half dollar, quarter, dime, nickel, and penny. The UK coins are: the two pound, one pound, fifty pence, twenty pence, ten pence, two pence, and UK penny.
Minted in 1997 by the Philadelphia Mint and the Royal Mint, this coin set is in uncirculated condition and includes the original packaging. Add this unique and historic coin set to your commemorative collection today.
