The reverse, engraved by Robert Lowe, features a depiction of the Penydaren Locomotive encircled by a cog, which is a representation of the Industrial Revolution.
The Gold Proof £2 coin is encapsulated to keep its Proof quality, and housed in the Royal Mint plush case, and comes with a signed Certificate of Authenticity that guarantees its provenance. The special limited edition Gold Proof £2 is restricted to 1500 Individual pieces for worldwide distribution, so these will become extremely difficult to get hold of.
