On 2nd June 1953, the country united to celebrate the crowning of its young Queen. To commemorate the fiftieth anniversary of this historic occasion, the Royal Mint and and Royal Mail joined together to issue this classic collection which contains a 1953 Coronation Crown, a 2003 Anniversary Crown and an Ingot based on the 1953 Coronation Stamp.
Each one is housed in a black case together with a 2003 Coronation Anniversary crown and the silver Proof Coronation ingot. Appropriately, a strict issue limit of 2,003 has been imposed on this set. The set also comes with a Certificate of Authenticity.
