1997 $2 SILVER DOLLAR – THE AUSTRALIAN KOOKABURRA – THREEPENCE PRIVY MARK
A certificate accompanies a two ounce silver coin which forms part of the 1997 Australian Kookaburra silver bullion coin series, minted and inspected by the Perth Mint, Western Australia.
Each coin in this issue bears a special privy mark, depicting the reverse design of the Threepence. The issue commemorates the 60th anniversary of the pre-decimal pattern coins.
Each coin is made from pure silver, refined to a millesimal purity of 999 parts silver in 1,000 and is minted to Specimen quality.
The privy mark issue is limited to only 2,000 two ounce coins.
