THE 70TH ANNIVERSARY OF KING GEORGE VI AND QUEEN ELIZABETH CORONATION SILVER COIN COVER

The coronation of King George VI and Queen Elizabeth took place on 12th May 1937, following the death of King George V on 20th January 1936 and the abdication of King Edward VIII on 10th December 1946.  He and Elizabeth were crowned King and Queen of Great Britain, Ireland and the British dominions beyond the seas, and Emperor and Empress of India.

This beautifully designed cover features a stunning Jersey Silver £5 Queen Mother Coin, two Royal Mail stamps featuring the Queen Mother (both stamps are postmarked on 4th August 2007, which marks the date that the Queen Mother was born) and a 1937 stamp, which celebrates the coronation of the Queen Mother and King George VI.

The coin is accompanied by a certificate of authenticity and presented in a black folder.
