With the 65th anniversary of Her Majesty The Queen's coronation, the 70th birthday of His Royal Highness The Prince of Wales and the 5th birthday of His Royal Highness Prince George of Cambridge, 2018 was a busy year of royal celebrations.

It is the first time that The Queen, her son The Prince of Wales, her grandson The Duke of Cambridge and her great-grandson Prince George of Cambridge have been honoured together on an official United Kingdom coin.

This stunning coin celebrates the British Royal Family and shows the initials of each of the current and future Windsor monarchs from these four generations - E for Elizabeth, C for Charles, W for William and G for George - on the reverse. The obverse of the coin features the classic portrait of Her Majesty the Queen by Jody Clark, as well as the coin's face value.
