2022 UK 1oz Gold Proof Coin - Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II

The 2022 Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II Proof gold 1oz coin is one of several coins issued by The Royal Mint to honour the life and service of the late queen. This will also be the first 1oz gold coin to feature King Charles III issued by the UK.

As with all coins in the range, the obverse (front) of the coin features Martin Jennings' portrait of King Charles III for the first time, making it a historic release. The reverse features a new graceful design of Elizabeth II by John Bergdahl and The Royal Mint.

This Proof 1 ounce (31.1g) coin is struck in fine gold (999.9) and weighs a total of 31.21g. It is presented in a handsome presentation box and comes with a certificate of authenticity and full colour booklet.
