In this, the last of the $10 coins in the Millennium Coin Series, designer Peter Soobik has captured an image at the heart of the coin that signifies Australia's 'golden' age while the  mature culture is represented by the original copper colour.  The seedling from The Past has now developed into a mature tree.  Its branches forming pointers like the Fedetation Star: all the States and Territories have become a united canopy forming a haven supported by its people.  The coin completes a three coin series spaning the change from the second to the third millennium.
