1990 Silver Proof £5 Crown – 90th Birthday Queen Mother

On offer is a 1996 Silver Proof £5 Crown stuck by the Royal Mint to commemorate the 90th Birthday of Queen Elizabeth the Queen Mother.

The reverse design portrays a cypher in the form of a letter’E’ for Elizabeth in duplicate and interlaced, flanked by a Rose and a Thistle.  The dates 1900 – 1990 are also displayed for the 90th Year.

The crown is encapsulated and housed in a Royal Mint case, with it’s certificate of Authenticity.

A quality piece for the collector of the Silver Proof Crowns, which is getting harder to find.
