1996 Silver Proof £5 Crown – 70th Birthday QE II

On offer is a 1996 Silver Proof £5 Crown stuck by the Royal Mint to commemorate the 70th Birthday of Queen Elizabeth II.  The reverse design shows the Queen’s personal flag, the Royal Standard, the Union flag, two pennants bearing the dates 1926 and 1996 all set against the backdrop of Windsor Castle.

The crown is encapsulated and housed in a Royal Mint case, with it’s certificate of Authenticity.
