Ten majestic beasts stand on the Moat Bridge at Hampton Court Palace and each one is a statement in stone, proclaiming the right to rule by Henry VIII and his Tudor descendants.  The Royal Tudor Beasts Collection celebrates these heraldic beasts and recounts the rise of a royal dynasty.

Described as having the tail of a lion and the claws of an eagle, the heraldic panther is often shown as angry or infuriated, with flames coming out of its mouth and ears.  It supports a shield bearing the Seymour Wings, which are conjoined in lure.  A crown collar and chain appear around the neck and down the body and spots are seen on both the stone panther and the Chapel Court Panther.
