2008 Silver Proof BRITANNIA 4 Coin Set

The set, comprises four denominations: £2 (1oz), £1 (1/2oz), 50p (1/4oz) and 20p (1/10th oz) – all struck to Proof standard in Britannia .958 pure Silver – They are Britain’s purest Silver coins.

The reverse of each bears the designer John Bergdahl's new Britannia design, the seventh in the Britannia series, and this one bearing a modern standing representation of the Britannia. The obverse of the coin bears Ian Rank-Broadley’s portrait of the Queen.

 With an issue limit of only 2,500 for the 4 Coin Sets, they will be a rarity in years to come.
