2001 Silver Proof 1oz BRITANNIA

This special edition coin as issued by the Royal Mint was only issued during 2001 with this stunning design.

The Silver Proof coin contains 1oz of fine Silver and is struck to Proof FDC quality. The Britannia coin has the modern reverse design of the Britannia Una & the Lion, specially commissioned for the new century as a tribute to the Una & the Lion first used in the Victorian era.

The coin is housed in the original Royal mint issue case with the certificate of authenticity. The photo shows more detail but does not do this truly superb little coin justice.
