The Great Australian Artist series continues to showcase famous Australian’s artistic interpretation of the Royal Australian Mint’s iconic Kangaroo coins. In 2008 the image has been designed by Reg Mombassa with his signature humorous caricature twist.

This is only the second in the Famous Australian Artist series of Kangaroo coins.

The Royal Australian Mint Kangaroo series coins are now classed as a pure collectors coin, and not just bought for the bullion content.  They are dificult to get hold of if wanting to compile a full date collection and hence warrant an additional premium.
