2008 £5 - Queen Elizabeth I

2008 marks the 450th anniversary of the accession of the much-loved Tudor Queen, Elizabeth I.

To celebrate this prestigious event the Royal Mint has struck an official commemorative £5 coin to the same quality as the coins in your pocket (circulation standard). The reverse design bears a portrait of the Tudor Queen in celebration of one of the greatest reigns in British history.
