2019 50p - Paddington™ at the Tower

The BRAND NEW 2019 Paddington at the Tower of London 50p has been issued by the Royal Mint to continue the celebrations of the 60th Anniversary of the British Bear.

This very latest release features a design of Paddington based on the CGI-live action movie and shows Paddington continuing his adventures at the iconic Tower of London.

Designed by David Knapton the reverse of the coin shows an intricate engraving of Paddington holding his famous marmalade sandwich outside the Tower of London.

The obverse features Jody Clark's 5th Portrait of Her Majesty.

Last year's Paddington 50p coin releases proved to be some of the most popular 50p coins of the year and we're sure this will be no different.
