Struck to Brilliant Uncirculated quality, the two coin £2 coin designs for 1989 celebrates the 300th Anniversary of the formation of the Bill (England) and Claim (Scotland) of Right.

Two versions of the coin were struck, one with a reverse design honouring the tercentenary of the Bill of Rights, and the other, the tercentenary of the Claim of Right in Scotland.  Both were designed by John Lobban, and depict the cypher of William and Mary, the House of Commons mace, and stylised representations of SSt Edward's Crown and the Crown of Scotland, respectively.

The obverse, common to both coins, features Raphael Maklouf's portrait of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II with the denominational value below.

The presentation pack contains the two commemorative £2 coins housed within a fully illustrated presentation folder.
