USA MORGAN Dollar
The Morgan Dollars were minted from 1878 to 1904 and again for one more year in 1921. The Morgan Dollar is named after its designer, George T. Morgan, who designed the obverse and reverse of the coin. The dollar has a fineness of .900, giving a total silver content of 0.77344 troy ounces per coin. The Morgan Dollar is one of the most popular and widely collected US coins.
USA PEACE Dollar
In 1921, the Silver Peace Dollar was released, the same year the Morgan Dollar was discontinued. They were produced between 1921 - 1935, and are limited in supply so are very rare Silver coins. Created to celebrate America’s victory in World War I, these Silver coins helped establish the status of the U.S. as a major world power. The obverse features the profile of Lady Liberty, while the reverse depicts the majestic image of a perched American eagle with an olive branch in its talons as a symbol of peace.
MODERN RE-ISSUE
From 2024 the USA Mint took the decision to recreate the Morgan & Peace Dollars for the collectable market. Created through the use of modern technology and U.S. Mint historical assets, the new Morgan & Peace Dollars have a beautiful uncirculated finish.
