2009 1oz Silver PANDA COMMEMORATIVE

The China 2009 1oz SILVER PANDA COMMEMORATIVE coin was launched on 30th June 2009 to celebrate the thirtieth anniversary of the issuance of its 1st precious metal commemoratives.

The coin’s reverse Panda bears the same design as depicted on the 2009 Silver Panda bullion coin. The new commemoratives, however, feature a ring surrounding the pandas with the inscription “30TH ANNIVERSARY OF THE ISSUANCE OF THE CHINESE MODERN PRECIOUS METAL COMMEMORATIVE COINS.”

The obverse has the image of the Hall of Prayer for Good Harvest in the Temple of Heaven in Beijing as usual.

Both the Obverse and the Reverse designs are beautifully crafted and struck to proof like quality.

Housed in a protective capsule to keep its quality this is a piece of Silver that will enhance any collection.
