The 2020 UK Queen's Beast The White Lion of Mortimer 2oz Silver Coin is part of the Queen's Beasts bullion range from The Royal Mint, featuring an original reverse design. The coin's reverse features The White Lion of Mortimer and details the coin's weight, fineness and year-date.

The White Lion of Mortimer which supports a shield which has been part of the Royal Coat of Arms since the accession of Queen Victoria in 1837. The beasts, standing at 6 feet tall, guarded the entrance to Westminster Abbey on the day of the Queen's coronation in 1953. They represent the long heritage and history Queen Elizabeth II inherited that day.

The obverse design depicts the fifth portrait of Queen Elizabeth II, and the monetary denomination of £5. Both the obverse and reverse are by British Coin Designer Jody Clark, creator of the latest definitive portrait of The Queen on UK coinage.

Each coin weighs 62.2g and is 999.9 Silver.
