The Silver Zambian Elephant coin was launched in 1999 as a silver bullion coin issued for the nation of Zambia by the Bavarian State Mint of Germany. 2003 saw the 5th and final release of the Zambian Silver Elephant Coin.
The coins remain extremely popular today, however, are now known as the Silver Somalian Elephant coins.
