The Royal Mint continues their popular Myths and Legends series with the addition of this 1oz .999 Silver Maid Marian coin.  This second coin features Maid Marian in .999 Fine Silver.  Maid Marian is described as a woman of great rank, but always a person of the people. She is known for gathering valuable information that helped Robin Hood, as they made way through Sherwood Forest.

The reverse portrays Maid Marian secretly looking between the trees of the Sherwood Forest, with a bow and arrows on her back.

The obverse portrays the effigy of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II, along with the face value of 2 pounds.
