The series entails the misadventures of Captain Jack Sparrow, played by Johnny Depp, as he seeks the return of his ship, his crew or some accursed treasure. 

Reverse features an officially licensed image of the Black Pearl pirate ship next to Johnny Depp's Captain Jack Sparrow. Above this is the name of the ship and below reads "Disney Pirates of the Caribbean" along with the metal purity and Disney copyright.

Obverse features the effigy of Queen Elizabeth II, along with the year, denomination and country of issue.
