2020 $10 Gold Proof Coin - RELICS OF NEW FRANCE LOUIS XIV 15 SOL

This stunning $10 coin is 99.99% pure gold, with a diameter of 20 millimetres and a nominal metal weight of 7.8 grams. 

The reverse faithfully re-creates the Louis XIV 15-sol coin issued in 1670; it features the Royal arms of France, the Latin legend "GLORIAM REGNI TVI DICENT" ("They shall speak of the glory of Thy Kingdom"), the original "A" (Paris Mint) mint mark and a rook engraver mark (Jean-Baptiste Dufour).

The obverse features the effigy of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II by Susanna Blunt.

The coin is beautifully presented in the original Royal Canadian Mint maroon clamshell box, with outer black box and is accompanied by a Certificate of Authenticity that attests that the 2020 $10 pure gold coin is proof quality and ia authorised by the Government of Canada.
