1999 1/10th oz Gold Proof NUGGET

The Australian 1999 1/10th oz Gold Proof NUGGET coin is issued by the Perth Mint in Western Australia, and stuck to a very high standard with a superb mixture of frosted and mirror finish.

The coin contains 1/10th oz of 99.9% fineness GOLD and is sealed in an original issue plastic capsule to keep it’s proof like quality.

This series was started in 1987 and was originally based on the largest gold nuggets found in Australia.  From 1990 the series has depicted the various species of Kangaroo found in Australia.  The series continues to run.
