The Monetary Authority of Singapore issued Singapore Dollar banknotes in 12 different denominations, including this 1 Singapore Dollar banknote (Bird series).

They are part of the withdrawn Singapore Dollar banknotes series. The Monetary Authority of Singapore started issuing these 1 Singapore Dollar banknotes in 1976. They were withdrawn from circulation in 1987.

Serial Number: 171857

The banknote of one dollar reads ‘Singapore’. The bird on the front of the 1 SGD note is a black-naped tern.

On the backside of the note is a depiction of the National Day parade in Singapore.
