The Standard Chartered Bank issued Hong Kong Dollar banknotes in 8 different denominations, including this 50 Hong Kong Dollars banknote. They are part of the withdrawn Standard Chartered Bank Hong Kong Dollar banknotes series. The Standard Chartered Bank started issuing these 150 Hong Kong Dollar banknotes in 1993. They were withdrawn from circulation in 2012.
