These beautiful coins are is housed in a plastic capsule placed on a felt tray within a green presentation case with with hinged lid on which is mounted a plaque of a heraldic eagle. The case is in a cardboard box imprinted with the Great Seal and "United States Mint Columbus Quincentenary Coin." A green slipcover, similarly imprinted, protects the box.
