2011 £5 - Countdown to London 2012

This is the third of four £5 coins from the Royal Mint in the lead up to the 2012 Olympic Games, with one coin released every year.

Issued in 2011 it features a unique design displaying the number 1 to represent the 3,2,1 countdown to London 2012, designed in harmony with an image of a cyclist. The coin also incorporates the Official London 2012 logo.
