2016 50p - Jemima Puddle-Duck

The 2016 Jemima Puddle-Duck 50p coin was been issued by the United Kingdom to celebrate one of Beatrix Potter's much loved children's tales, 'The tale of Jemima Puddle-Duck'.

Struck by The Royal Mint, this coin is the third in the popular 5-coin series celebrating Beatrix Potter.

'The Tale of Jemima Puddle-Duck features a domestic duck named Jemima, whose character is featured on this 50p coin.  Designed by Emma Noble, Jemima Puddle-Duck is instantly recognisable in the centre of the coin.
