2011 1oz Silver GRIZZLY BEAR

On offer is a superb 2011 1oz Silver GRIZZLY BEAR coin as minted by the Royal Canadian Mint.  The coin contains 1 ounce of pure silver and is in totally Uncirculated condition.

The 2011 coin features the new Canadian portrait that is being used on the obverse of their coins, and the reverse is the Grizzly Bear that is native to Canada.

The Canadian GRIZZLY BEAR 1oz coins are a new addition to the CANADIAN WILDLIFE series bullion range, the fist of which was the Canadian Wolf issued in late 2010 (but dated 2011).  Even with a relatively high mintage, the Wolf coins sold out very fast and we expect the Grizzly Bear coins to do exactly the same.

The one-ounce .9999 fine silver bullion coin features a one-time use design with a maximum mintage of only 1,000,000. It is the second of six silver coins planned in the Wildlife program and the final 2011-dated issue.  Four more species are scheduled on upcoming Wildlife silver coins -- two in 2012 and the final two in 2013. All the coins will have a face value of $5.
