2013 1oz Silver Proof - DIDGERIDOO

The iconic didgeridoo is the second coin to be released from The Land Down Under coin series.

The coin is struck by The Perth Mint from 1oz of 99.9% silver in proof quality.

Issued as Australian legal tender, the coin’s obverse depicts the Ian Rank-Broadley effigy of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II, the year-date and the monetary denomination.

The coin’s reverse depicts a colourful outback scene of mountains and a sunset, with an Australian playing the didgeridoo, framed within a map shape of Australia. The inscription THE LAND DOWN UNDER and The Perth Mint’s ‘P’ mintmark are also incorporated in the design.

The coin is housed in a unique Australian map shaped latex case with a stylised shipper, and is accompanied by a numbered Certificate of Authenticity.

The Perth Mint will release no more than 5,000 of these Didgeridoo 2013 1oz Silver Proof Coins from The Land Down Under series.
