2007 1oz Silver Lunar PIG

The Australian 2007 1oz Silver Lunar PIG coin was issued by the Perth Mint in Western Australia and stuck to a very high standard and finish for a bullion coin.  It is the ninth release in the 12 coin series.

Obverse: The Ian Rank-Broadley likeness of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II, purity of .999 fine Silver and the monetary denomination are shown on the obverse.

Reverse: The coin’s reverse depicts a Piglet standing on leaves  The design includes the Chinese character for ‘pig’ and the 2007 year-date.

Sovereign coin backed by the Australian government.

The coin contains 1oz of 99.9% fineness Silver, with the superbly detailed Piglet image and is housed in a protective capsule to keep it’s proof like quality.

An extremely low mintage of just 63,644 coins.
