The second edition of the new Pirates of the Caribbean series is dedicated to the pirate ship The Flying Dutchman from the 2006 hit Disney hit Pirates of the Caribbean 2.

The ship is characterised by an unusual construction that is reminiscent of a sailfish. The Flying Dutchman was captained by Davy Jones used for diving and is therefore overgrown with all kinds of seaweed and mussels. As a result of a curse that Davy Jones brought upon himself and the Flying Dutchman, the crew is doomed to become more and more a part of the ship and finally to become fully integrated with it.
