1980 Royal Mint Standard Proof Set

In 1980 the Royal Mint released a Proof 6 Coin collection of the present coinage of Great Britain and Northern Ireland.

The collection includes: 50p, 10p, 5p, 2p, 1p and 1/2p coins.

These legal tender coins have been struck to proof quality using specially prepared dies and highly polished blanks.

The coins come presented in a perpsex case, which doubles as a display case and is housed in the original purple envelope.
