Designed by John Mercanti in collaboration with The Perth Mint, the 2024 coin is the tenth release in the series and contains 1oz of .9999 fine silver.

Obverse - The Dan Thorne effigy of His Majesty King Charles III and the face value.

Reverse - Features a wedge-tailed eagle with its wings outstretched, majestically in flight. The reverse design depicts the view of the wedge-tailed eagle as perceived from the ground. The design also features the inscription "AUSTRALIAN WEDGE-TAILED EAGLE," “2024 1 OZ 9999 SILVER" and "10th ANNIVERSAY." For this year only, coins feature the "P125" mint mark in celebration of The Perth Mint's 125th anniversary!
