2024 1oz Silver Proof Coloured – FLORAL CLOCK

This stunning 1oz Silver Proof coloured coin depicts the Horologium Florae, a beautiful concept which takes inspiration from the research conducted by Carl Nilsson Linnaeus, a renowned Swedish botanist who brought us into the fascinating process of flower blossoming.

The reverse of the coin tells the story of Linnaeus, who dedicated his life to observing and categorising plants, organising them based on the timing of their corolla openings. As a result, he created a floral clock, with each flower awakening at a specific time, with some blooming early in the morning and others requiring the warmth of the midday sun. 

The obverse of the coin repeats the image of circular patterns recalling the idea of blossomed flowers. In the outer of the obverse, the inscriptions: "REPUBLIC OF LIBERIA" - the issuing country, "20 DOLLARS" - the face value, "1 OZ" - the weight of the coin and "9999 FINE SILVER" - the fineness of the Silver.

The coin is encapsulated and housed in a black presentation case, with a Certificate of Authenticity.
