2015 Silver 1oz KOOKABURRA - 25th Anniversary - Goat Privy

2015 marks the 25th anniversary of the Silver Kookaburra series and the Perth Mint is celebrating with the original coin design from 1990. Additionally, this issue features a privy mark celebrating 2015 as the Year of the Goat.

Reverse - Depicts an adult Kookaburra sitting on a tree stump surrounded by eucalyptus leaves and a fern and includes the purity of the coin and the dates 1990-2015. Also bears a special Goat privy mark that celebrates the 2015 Lunar Year of the Goat.

Obverse - Displays the Ian Rank-Broadley likeness of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II and the monetary denomination.

Sovereign coin backed by the Australian government.

The Perth Mint has issued a strict mintage cap of 50,000 coins, which means no more will be minted.
