1994-1997 Silver Proof PIEDFORT £1 Collection (4 x £1's)

This coin collection contains a series of four silver Proof PIEDFORT one pound coins issued to represent the four constituent parts of the United Kingdom.  

Commencing in 1994 with a coin for Scotland, the series continued with coins representing Wales and Northern Ireland and culminated in 1997 with a coin for England.  

Piedfort coins are struck on thicker than normal blanks and each coin housed in this collection has been struck to the highest Proof standard.

This stunning Set contains the 1994, 1995, 1996 and 1997 Silver Proof PIEDFORT One Pound coins.  Housed in the original Royal Mint case with the Silver medallion and detailed certificate, and with the coins being Piedfort they are much thicker.

Absolutely Superb and a must have on the list for all the Silver collectors out there.
